Since 2020, we have established a partnership with restaurant Gasthof Halifax (www.gasthofhalifax.be), for which we at Het Waterland exclusively breed delicious ox meat of the finest quality. The unique aspect of this partnership is the direct supply of premium quality products from the farm Het Waterland to the restaurant Halifax, providing the customer as well as the end consumer the full transparency along the value chain, while also reducing the processing steps.

Since 2019, a unique partnership between a baker, passionate for local produce, and the farm Het Waterland. The common values behind the cooperation are trust, quality and high transparency for the end-consumer, who is then able to buy bread and pastries in Bakerij Knapen produced with the Het Waterland high quality flour without any chemical additives.

Dyck brood

A new local bread “Dyckbrood” (www.lokaalbrood.be/dyckbrood ) was created in cooperation with the University of Ghent and our partner Boer Steven and miller Dedobbeleer. The bread production was launched in 2020 and is now daily on the shelves of nearly 10 bakeries in Meetjesland
